Every donor at Asian Egg Bank completes a detailed screening process before being accepted into the program.

Our screening process is designed to protect donor safety, support intended parents, and maintain the quality standards of our donor egg program.

Step 5: Choose Fresh or Frozen Donor Eggs

Asian Egg Bank offers both frozen donor egg options and fresh donor cycle options.

Frozen Donor Eggs

Frozen donor eggs are already retrieved, vitrified, and available for selection. Once the match is confirmed and required steps are complete, the eggs can be shipped to your approved fertility clinic.

Frozen donor eggs may be a good option for intended parents who want:

Available donor egg inventory

A confirmed number of mature eggs

No donor cycle synchronization

Flexible timing with their clinic

Access to Asian donor eggs without waiting for a fresh cycle

Fresh Donor Cycles

Fresh donor cycles begin after you are matched with a donor. The donor completes a stimulation cycle, and the eggs retrieved from that cycle are used for your treatment plan.

Fresh donor cycles may be a good option for intended parents who want:

Access to the donor’s full egg cohort from that retrieval

A personalized donor cycle

The option to create embryos through a planned cycle

Potential embryo freezing for future family-building goals

Step 6: Choose Donor Identity Type

Intended parents may have the option to choose between Non-Identifying donors and Open-ID donors, depending on donor availability, clinic requirements, and legal regulations.

Non-Identifying Donors

Non-Identifying donors do not release personal identifying information as part of the donation process.

Intended parents may still receive available donor profile information, including medical history, family history, psychological screening information, photos, and other non-identifying details.

Open-ID Donors

Open-ID donors also remain non-identifying during the donation process. However, they agree that identifying information may be released to a donor-conceived child upon request once the child reaches adulthood, subject to program terms and applicable laws.

Availability may vary by donor and jurisdiction.

Step 7: Complete Legal and Program Requirements

Once a donor selection is made, the next steps may include legal forms, program agreements, clinic documentation, and coordination between Asian Egg Bank and your fertility clinic.

If both intended parents and a donor request or agree to additional contact, AEB can help facilitate a request. Donors are not required to meet intended parents, and any meeting or contact can only move forward if both parties consent and all legal and program requirements are met.

Step 8: Coordinate With Your Fertility Clinic

After your donor egg selection is confirmed, Asian Egg Bank works with your fertility clinic to coordinate the next steps.

This may include:

Donor egg lot confirmation

Required clinic forms

Shipment coordination

Warming protocol information

Treatment timing

Embryo creation planning

Our team helps keep the process organized so you and your clinic know what to expect.

Step 9: Move Forward With Treatment
