LYNDON CHANG, MD, FACOG

Co-Founder, Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Chang graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Pennsylvania State University, received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, and completed his residency at Lenox Hill Hospital on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, receiving the Kupperman Award for residency excellence. Since 2006, Dr. Lyndon Chang was involved with New Hope Fertility Center in New York City, focusing specifically on advancing Japanese low-stimulation protocols. He is a Pioneer in the field of minimal stimulation in the USA. He specializes in the use of low stimulation IVF protocols in treating women with Diminished Ovarian Reserve/Premature Ovarian Failure and Advanced Maternal Age.

MASAHIDE SHIOTANI, MD, PhD

Scientific Advisor

Dr. Shiotani is the co-founder of Asian Egg Bank and Hanabusa IVF and owner of several fertility clinics in Japan. His graduated from the Shimane University School of Medicine. He worked at the Kyoto University Hospital Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics and as a member of the IVF team conducted research in infertility, focusing on the implantation process. Dr. Shiotani spent six years working at the Kobe City Medical Center General Hospital. While there, he had success with the first ICSI baby in Hyogo Prefecture. After working in fertility practices, he opened his original clinic, the Hanabusa Women’s Clinic, in Tarumi. Over the following decade, he went on to open two more women’s clinics in Sannomiya.

DIANA LEBLANC, MD, FACOG

Fertility Specialist

Dr. Diana LeBlanc is Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology with over 10 years of experience providing compassionate reproductive care. Her education and training include Universitie Catholic de Louvain in Belgium, Louisiana State University, and the University of Connecticut/St Francis hospital in Hartford, CT. She also holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management from UT Dallas. She has a deep understanding of the field of ART with interest in PCOS, DOR, and Family Balancing. She is passionate about treating donors in safer, less aggressive treatment protocols, and her goal is to eliminate possible donor side effects as much as possible.

Lisa Nelson, MSc., ELD (ABB), EMB (ACE)

Laboratory and Tissue Bank Director

Lisa received her undergraduate degree from Cal Poly Pomona in Animal Science and her Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She is board certified as an Embryology Laboratory Director, certified by the American Board of Bioanalysts and an Embryologist, certified by the American College of Embryology. She is highly skilled in all the latest, state-of-the-art techniques of laboratory management, embryo and blastocyst culture, micromanipulation and cryopreservation/thaw techniques, including oocyte freezing. She is the president of the Southern California Assisted Reproductive Biologists, a member of both the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the American Board of Bioanalysts and serves as a laboratory inspector for the College of American Pathologists.

Marlane Angle, PhD, HCLD (ABB)

Consultant in IVF Laboratory and Cryobiology

Dr. Angle received her PhD in 1983 from Auburn University in Reproductive Physiology. She completed two NIH (National Institute of Health)-sponsored postdoctoral fellowships at universities in Texas and then moved to San Francisco for her IVF training at the University of California, San Francisco. She has been licensed as a High Complexity Laboratory Director through the American Association of Bioanalysts since 1994. She serves as a laboratory inspector for the College of American Pathologists, participates in several committees and task forces for ASRM, and is co-owner of International Reproductive Information and Services, L.L.C. (IRIS). Dr. Angle has published more than 50 scientific articles, book chapters and abstracts and is an ad hoc reviewer for Fertility and Sterility.

Raymond Peng, PSY.D.

Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Peng, Psy.D. earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. He continued his education at California School of Professional Psychology earning a Master’s of Arts and Doctorate of Psychology focused on Clinical Psychology. Serving as the Secretary of the San Diego Psychological Association and a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, Dr. Peng has a great passion in providing and promoting the most up-to-date, researched, and ethical mental health treatment available. Dr. Peng specializes in providing Psychological evaluations as well as long-term psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

Kathryn Wozniak, MSc.

Senior Embryologist and Lead Cryobiologist

Kathryn is Asian Egg Bank’s Senior Embryologist. She completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours, majoring in Genetics and Developmental Biology, and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Embryology at Monash University, Australia. While at Monash, she received numerous academic awards and scholarships, including the honours class dux in 2017. She has over 5 years of experience as a Clinical Embryologist and is highly specialized in oocyte cryopreservation. Since 2019, she has actively led several clinical research projects, presenting this work at prestigious conferences throughout the US. She received an award for the best paper at CRB in 2020; and has authored/co-authored several abstracts and research articles in reputable journals. Kathryn is actively engaged in the community, serving as a board member of the California Assisted Reproductive Biologists for the past 4 years, and as a tutor in the ASRM Pre-Congress Vitrification Workshop in 2022. She has an undeniable passion for reproductive science and innovation; and is committed to providing a high standard of patient care.

Régine Lim, MS, CGC

Genetic Counselor

Régine received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Williams College and her Master’s in Genetic Counseling from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She has over a decade of experience as a certified genetic counselor, and is an advocate for the thoughtful discussion and responsible application of advancements in genetic testing and genomic analysis. Régine has served patients at Long Island College Hospital in New York, GenePeeks, and Sema4. Her interest in best genetic screening practices in assisted reproduction extends as far back as her research in graduate school and continues to today.
