Our qualification procedures help us select healthy donors with high fertility that meet the standards of our unique market.
Qualifications for donors include:
- Must be over 21 and under 30
- College educated
- Must have a regular period
- Maintains a healthy lifestyle, both mentally and physically
- Asian ancestry preferred

Compensation
According to the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), financial compensation for egg donors should be structured to acknowledge the time, inconvenience, and discomfort associated with screening, ovarian stimulation, and egg retrieval. At Asian Egg Bank, the rate of compensation our egg donors receive is between $7,000 – $15,000. In some cases, experienced egg donors may request a higher rate of compensation. Egg donors receive compensation regardless of the number of eggs that are retrieved.
Asian Egg Bank compensates egg donors for all reasonable expenses about travel and accommodations.
- Travel – Car travel is reimbursed according to the current IRS mileage rate. If an egg donor does not drive, expenses will be reimbursed for travel required during the egg donation process. If it is necessary to travel by airplane, compensation for airfare is provided.
- Accommodations – If an egg donor is required to stay overnight during the egg donation process, hotel accommodations near the facility will be provided.
- Other Expenses – Out-of-town egg donors receive a per diem rate of $50/day for living expenses during their stay in San Diego.
Costs incurred for medical and psychological evaluations, genetic counseling, in vitro fertilization medications, and egg retrieval procedures are all paid by Asian Egg Bank. Also, we cover all costs pertaining to egg donor insurance and attorney fees.
